Sisters All the Time Book Set Giveaway by Mama Likes This

The Sisters All the Time Book Set Giveaway by Mama Likes This offers one winner two editions of Angela Quezada Padron’s picture book: Sisters All the Time in English and Hermanas Todo el Tiempo in Spanish. The Sisters book set is part of Charlesbridge’s STEAMworks series and combines a story about sibling relationships with information about time. 📚

The story follows half sisters Mari and Luz, who share a father but have different mothers and spend weekends together. When Luz’s mother is running late, the sisters have extra time together. They plan activities, estimate how long each will take and try to fit their plans into the time available.

Time measurement is woven into these familiar experiences. The book explores seconds, minutes and hours, how clocks work, and why the passage of time can feel different depending on an activity. Angela Quezada Padron is both the author and illustrator, with illustrations accompanying the sisters’ experiences and the scientific ideas presented in the story.

Additional material extends the subject beyond the narrative, with information about telling time and STEAM activities. The series connects science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics with everyday questions and problems.

The prize includes both the English and Spanish editions, allowing the same story and time concepts to be read in either language. The English edition is described as a hardcover picture book.
