The winner will work with Spalding to finalise the design after claiming the prize. The ten basketballs will feature that custom design, rather than a selection of different designs.
Design, production and delivery are expected to take approximately four months after the prize is claimed. This is an estimate and may vary because of production, supply or delivery delays. The promoters will keep the winner informed of expected delays.
Spalding may also consider the winning design for commercial production and sale through selected retail stores or online channels. Any commercial release remains at Spalding’s discretion and depends on retailer interest, commercial viability and production requirements. Production for retail sale is not guaranteed.
