Banff Centre’s World Tour Contest features a Bhutan trek trip for two or a Banff and Lake Louise ski getaway, alongside outdoor equipment, clothing, courses and lodge stays from festival and tour partners. 🏔️
The Bhutan prize is World Expeditions’ guided Druk Path Trek, valued at C$22,580 for two people. The route follows an ancient trading and pilgrimage trail between Paro and Thimphu, passing through rhododendron forests, yak pastures and alpine meadows, with views of Jomolhari and the Bhutan-Tibet border peaks. The package includes Drukair economy flights between a selected Asian gateway and Paro, plus a C$1,000 credit per person toward international airfare. Booking is subject to availability, and the prize cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
Additional flights, taxes, insurance, extra accommodation, vaccinations, personal expenses and meals outside the scheduled itinerary are not covered. Any extension to the Bhutan stay is at the winner’s expense.
The alternative Banff and Lake Louise package includes three days of skiing for two at Lake Louise Ski Resort, ski equipment rentals and a gift certificate toward lunch at the resort. Accommodation consists of three nights at a Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity hotel.
